Max learned, through study of devastating wildfires, how few people were adequately prepared for natural disasters. This led Max to partner with the American Red Cross and to use his leadership to raise $10,000 for San Diego's emergency services, educate 1,600 families about natural disaster preparedness planning, and distribute 300 customized disaster survival kits.
