Jason believes in collective action, sustainability, and the power of teens. He brought these ideas together to connect students at high schools across the Bay Area Peninsula to share and support one another’s ideas for making their communities more sustainable. Jason introduced and championed a cost-effective approach to the installation of solar panels in the six high schools in his own district, resulting in the availability of more funds for programs, personnel, and academic classes, with the additional outcome of lessening the school districts’ contribution to global climate change.
