Gabe’s study of the Holocaust led him to an exploration and understanding of the genocides that continue to take place around the world; he was inspired to take action to have an impact to the fullest extent possible. Gabe organized annual community walks to raise awareness and much-needed aid for young refugees in Darfur, the Congo, and other places where genocide has ravaged the population. Gabe has served as a passionate advocate for anti-genocide effort and engagement and has brought many others to advocate on behalf of victims of genocide.
