2007 AWARD RECIPIENT

"One person can make a big difference in the world...I strive each day to be a better person, care a little more, problem solve a little smarter, and lead a little better to make a difference in my community and spread the message of tikkun olam."

Recycling for NCJW

Erich's recycling project, Dollars for Dwaynes, kept reusable items out of Los Angeles’ landfills and provided more than $17,000 worth of clothes, electronics, furniture, books, and office supplies to the National Council of Jewish Women’s thrift stores to help fund programs to assist women, children, and families in need. Supported programs included school enrichment, children’s literacy tutoring, teen mentoring, support for families in crisis, and job training efforts.
