Developed and taught by and for young people of color, Leadership in Motion recruits high school computer science mentors, trains them on how to teach youth, delivers customized curriculum, and cultivates peer-mentor relationships. Gideon started the program after his own experience engaging with Black and Brown computer engineers. Leadership in Motion is set to scale up and reach more students of color with introductory computer science courses with Google’s Code Next.
