Arctic Ambassador, Year of the Polar Bear
As the San Diego Zoo’s 2008 Arctic Ambassador for the Year of the Polar Bear, Ronit spent 10 days in the Canadian Arctic studying the affect of climate change on the polar bear and updating students around the world on a daily blog. Through scientific research and advocacy, Ronit has educated individuals of all ages about the environment.
